How it works

01

Search before collecting

Researchers can search public planned collection records by place, period, data type, tags, and method.

02

Register planned collection

Contributors can add a short public record describing intended geodata collection.

03

Coordinate if useful

If another record overlaps in space, time, attributes, or method, researchers can contact the contributor through the relay form.

04

Create a geodata card

Dataset owners can document datasets through a structured wizard.

05

Download or publish

Cards can be downloaded privately as DOCX, PDF, and JSON, or published as public documentation records.

06

Report problematic records

Public records can be reported. Reported records are hidden pending review.
